Good Samaritan Hospital, a 408-bed tertiary care facility in Los Angeles, partnered with Digital Health Strategies to learn how to convert more of its 12,500 patients into long-term donors.
Historically, the organization sent just four Grateful Patient mailings annually, with no digital outreach. As a result, patients typically received solicitations up to 90 days after treatment. This led to poor performance, as the number of grateful patients who are “very likely” to give decreases 21% more than 30 days after treatment.
