Production Designer
Overview
Due to growth in our client base, particularly in digital and personalized communications, we have an exciting opportunity for a Production Designer to join our team full-time. This role will collaborate closely with our creative leads and account teams to develop compelling, brand-aligned designs for a variety of media channels and direct-to-consumer touchpoints.
About you
Required qualifications and skills:
- 1-2 years of professional design experience
- Digital portfolio showcasing a wide range of print and digital work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD) with a willingness to explore and learn other design tools
- Strong understanding of typography, design hierarchy and composition
- Comfortable designing personalized communications (email, social ads, etc.) for diverse digital platforms
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principals
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, maintain high-level of accuracy and attention to detail while meeting deadlines
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint), project management tools (Asana, Monday, Wrike, Trello, Workfront), and messaging apps (Slack, Google Chat, MS Teams).
Preferred:
- Experience in healthcare marketing or fundraising
- Direct website or email development (HTML/CSS knowledge)
- Motion graphics
What you’ll do
- Assist in the creation and production of graphics for print and digital media including email templates, social media posts, data visualization and marketing materials that engage and inform target audiences
- Produce and optimize digital assets for various user segments, ensuring a seamless and customized user experience across various platforms
- Craft visually compelling presentations for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring brand and style guidelines are consistently applied
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (strategy, account management, technology) to translate marketing and fundraising objectives into compelling visual solutions
- Ensure final assets adhere to best practices for file organization, naming conventions, and version control
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, especially in the design and development workflow
- Stay current on emerging design trends, digital marketing best practices, and new technologies that can elevate DHS’s offerings
